Stretching and Strengthening
Being physically fit is a goal that each gymnast should have. In today's society, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is tough. Stretching daily will increase the blood flow throughout the body causing it to be more productive. Strengthening, a.k.a. weight lifting and sit-ups and push-ups, will keep the body moving without much effort. It is our job to keep ourselves running smoothly.
Levels
Each gymnast will be tested on skills according to a skill chart. There are 10 skills per level and a total of 4 levels. Gymnasts will be tested and graded on how they do individually; not compared to their classmates. Each gymnast should show improvement every few weeks if they are working hard in class.
