9th Grade English
This class is designed to help incoming freshmen to write clearly and precisely, analyze texts (fiction and non-fiction) and to strengthen grammar skills. Each unit will be organized into themes, which will allow for students to see a connection between their reading and writing and the world around them. The units will take them on a journey from Cultural Awareness, Self Awareness, Societal Awareness, Discovery of Self, What is a Hero, and Giving to Others.
